Cloud migration is no longer a luxury — for many businesses it is a condition of staying competitive. But a wrong start can multiply costs and erode your team’s trust.
Step one is knowing your assets: which services are critical? Which data is sensitive? Which systems carry legacy dependencies? Without this map, every migration ends in delays and rework.
Step two is choosing the right model. Not everything needs to move to public cloud at once; a hybrid of private and public cloud is usually the more sensible starting point.
Step three: migrate in phases. Start with low-risk services, measure the results, then move the core workloads. With this approach, downtime effectively drops to zero.
